Facebook Timeline Design was recently completed by NetConneXions for Felix The Fast Tractor – a Red Wellies publishing children’s book. Felix The Fast Tractor was looking to start up a Facebook page with a cool design and came straight to us.
We set the new page Facebook page up for Felix Fast Tractor and also created a Facebook Timeline Design for them incorporating Felix and making it as interactive as possible so as to engage the audience.
As well as doing the Facebook Timeline Design we will be managing the Felix The Fast Tractor page to increase awareness of the product. As the likes go up the new page will also be used to try and increase sales of the children’s books.
We are excited about working on such a fun project and hop the new page with the Facebook Timeline Design will help to boost the book sales for Felix The Fast Tractor.

Story’s Seo Carlisle has recently been completed here at NetConneXions. Story’s Carlisle approached us regarding doing their social media marketing and SEO Carlisle. There aim is to climb the Google rankings on the most beneficial search terms to their business.
We took the time to do the initial analysis for Story’s SEO Carlisle and pick the 4 best terms to target. We then optimised the front page of their website and started a link building campaign towards it.
To further help Story’s SEO Carlisle we posted 4 blog posts on to the front page of the website. This will help the keywords to be indexed quicker. Blogging will also become vital in the future for Story’s when progressing their SEO and targeting various terms. This can be to include the news of a new development or all houses sold etc – anything they want to try and get positioning for.
An integral part of SEO Carlisle nowadays is the use of social media for business. We set up the Facebook and Twitter page for Story’s Carlisle and both were branded up with a unique Story Homes Design. As well as this the 2 accounts were integrated together so that when something is posted on one, it automatically posts on the other.
All of the social media marketing and SEO mentioned above is something which will help to ensure Story Homes begin appearing at the top of Google. This in turn will increase traffic to the website and ultimately conversions.

White Lodge Hotel Web Design Cumbria has recently been completed and launched here by NetConneXions. The White Lodge Hotel came to NetConneXions asking for the implementation of a new hotel web design and development.
Located in Cumbria’s Lake Districtis a competitive market for any hotel and a website acts as their shop front. White Lodge Hotel were awareness and wanted their new web design to stand out as well as be marketed online to increase traffic and in turn conversions. As well as the hotel web design, we were also responsible for some slight re-branding and changes to the logo and online marketing techniques such as email marketing.
We had worked with White Lodge Hotel in the past when we made a Windermere Hotels portal page which combined 3 hotels together where they promoted all their special offers. The site still has online marketing with us such as SEO.

New Alien DVR for Penrith Hospital has recently been installed by TeleConneXions in Cumbria. We have installed a new 4 port alien DVR into the Beacon Unit at Penrith Hospital for the North Cumbria Health Authority.
We are considered experts in the CCTV field and always stay on top of ways we can improve this service for clients. The new Alien DVR installation for Penrith Hospital now allows the staff to have instant access to recordings of any incidents in or around the unit with the ability to copy them to disk or USB stick.

West Cumberland Hospital CCTV Upgrade has been completed throughout their whole site in Whitehaven, using TeleConneXions, Cumbria. We have worked with West Cumberland Hospitals before and it was great to be able to provide them with a CCTV Upgrade.
The installation at the West Cumberland Hospital utilises the latest model of 32 port dedicated Micros SD digital video recorder (DVR) and incorporates all of the existing on site cameras. The CCTV Upgrade used cameras which include a variety of different models, many of which have full PTZ functionality and incorporate wireless links back to the control equipment as well as down to the coax and fibre optic technologies. We have also installed a state of the art viewing station with large screens and easy to use camera controls for the West Cumberland Hospital.
Along with the CCTV Upgrade installation we have provided a Gold maintenance agreement allowing the staff to feel safe in the knowledge that any faults are dealt with quickly; and technical assistance is only a short telephone call away.

No More Twitter to LinkedIn is one of the recent changes which has been brought in by Twitter. What this now means is that when something is posted to Twitter, where it used to automatically go to LinkedIn, this will not happen and there is now no more Twitter to LinkedIn.
Not having tweets automatically post from Twitter to LinkedIn will be seen as a slight inconvenience from many people who like to save time by having it done automatically.
One way around the no more Twitter to LinkedIn situation would be to post directly from LinkedIn. LinkedIn still offers the option to send any post you make onto Twitter by checking a simple box. But for those who prefer to tweet there is no solution as of yet doing it directly from Twitter.

Google First Page has just been achieved for Carrs Billington by NetConneXions. Carrs Billington have recently had their website designed and developed by us and also took the opportunity to use our online marketing services. One of these was our new Social media and SEO package to get them on Google first page.
Carrs Billington wanted to be found on the largest terms for their new website and be able to appear on Google First Page for those terms. We optimised the homepage on their new site to the selected key terms and then started a link building campaign. When we initially launched the site they were over 500 places on Google and we anticipated it would take some time to reach Google First Page.
However within only 6 weeks, 5 of their key terms had already reached Google First Page. This included ‘agricultural supplies’, ‘farming supplies’, ‘farm equipment for sale’, ‘farm machinery for sale’ and ‘used farm equipment’ – feel free to check these!

Digital Marketing Services was a feature recently put in The Cumberland News and NetConneXions were in it. The feature was put in the Cumbrian newspaper highlighting several companies offering digital marketing services such as websites, graphic design, ecommerce, seo, email marketing, broadband and more.
The selected companies had an advert featured as well as a short editorial providing extra information. We used the editorial to talk about a recent job which covered many of our services with Carrs Billington. Having recently designed and developed their website we felt it was a great opportunity to tell people about the work we’d completed. We also do their online digital marketing such as social media design, email marketing and search engine optimisation.
Our advert was in the top left of the feature and was designed by our in-house graphic designers. It featured our contact information and listed some of the digital marketing services we provide.
We have a fortnightly advert in the Cumberland news for ConneXions Group as a whole and it was good to generate a little bit more awareness for the NetConneXions branch and services provided.

Good Life Cottage Web Design Cumbria has by recently been completed by NetConneXions. The Good Life Cottage Cumbria have been a customer of ours for several years now and when it came to the new web design they came straight to us.
Having done a web design for Good Life Cottage several years ago, they now felt it was time they had something a little different. We stuck with the current company branding and colours, but simplified the design and made it more user friendly as well as incorporating a couple of new features.
The web design Cumbria and development has a search filter included, an email sign up feature and an integrated blog to help with SEO benefits. As well as this we integrated the website with a 3rd party booking software to make administration of the site much easier.
Not only did we do the Good Life Cottage web design Cumbria, we also provide them with some online marketing. When doing the web design we coded the site so that it was correct for search engine optimisation towards 4 key terms. We also do email marketing for Good Life Cottage so they can contact clients with new special offers and news. Of course, the email sign up form on the new web design helps to harvest even more emails. We have been hosting Good Life Cottage Website for a long time now as well.
