From 1st March 2015 the charge to not pay by Direct Debit will increase to £5.50 per month and to receive a paper bill will increase to £5.50 per month. A late payment charge of £25.00 may be raised when a customer fails to settle their bill by the payment due date.

    • From 1st April 2014 our line assurance charges have increased to come in line with the fees applied by BT Openreach for their engineer call out charges. Engineer charges cost between £145 and £205 depending on day of the week. Each additional hour of work carried out by the engineers are charged at between £60 and £120. Our new pricing is as follows, Single Analogue £1.99, Multi Analogue £3.99, ISDN2 £3.99, ISDN30 £5.99.With this protection ConneXions covers the cost of BT Openreach call out charges, giving you piece of mind at an incredibly reasonable price.

    • From 1st January 2014 as a result of Ofcom changes in response to the 2013 Narrowband Market Review and other industry developments, some of our rates have changed. Incremental rounding on premium and international destinations to 60 seconds excluding the following: The internationals that are part of the unlimited bundles, 0845, 0870 P3 (Alarm Lines), P7 (Alarm Lines), Wifi 7 (Lycamobile), CI-211, CIP-211, CorpPrem2013. Call tariffs have been changed to 2 decimal place billing.

  • In January 2014 BT increased prices to business customers for the second time in 13 months during which time ConneXions’ prices have remained unchanged. From 1st January some of our line rental, broadband, bundles, calls, select services, late payment, non direct debit and directory listing prices have changed but remain best value within the marketplace.

      • From 1st December 2013 Customers who don’t pay by Direct Debit will no longer receive the 10% direct debit call discount which has been applied in error to all accounts. Customers who do not pay by Direct Debit have until the 9th of January 2014 to convert to Direct Debit in order to be eligible for this discount.

      • From 1st September 2013 our Directory Listing pricing will be brought in line with BT. Chess are committed to never be beaten on price..

      • From 1st August 2013 we have simplified charges to Fraud Monitor to only £2.99 plus 49p per line or channel. Telecoms Fraud cost UK business £1.5 Billion in 2012.     • From 1st October 2012 due to changes in Ofcom regulation for Non-Geographic Numbers some of our NGN rates have changed. The good news is we’re still 50% cheaper than BT on rental and up to 20% cheaper on call charges. In line with our online proposition, all NGN’s now incur a monthly rental charge of £5. Charges to receive calls to NGN’s are now as follows per minute; 0800 to landline: 4p, 0844 to landline: 0p, 0845 to landline: 3p, 0870 to landline: 3p, 0871 to landline: 0p. NGN’s receiving less than 250 inbound minutes per month will incur a minimum usage charge of £4.99.


    • From the 1st of July 2012 BT increased line rental charges to business customers by 4.1%. The good news is we won’t implement the change until 1st August 2012, and you will still be saving up to 15% with ConneXions.     • From 1st May 2012 we are pleased to announce that, in line with a recent reduction in mobile termination rates and BT offering customers capped call charges for up to an hour, we are introducing an hourly cap for local, national and mobile calls on all our customer tariffs. Local & National calls lasting up to an hour will now cost from as little as 4p, 20% less than BT, mobile calls lasting up to an hour from as little as 18p, again 20% less than BT as is set up. Your existing pence per minute rate will apply after 60 minutes. This ensures that however long you’re on the phone you have peace of mind that your calls won’t cost more than a low fixed amount. You don’t need to do anything as the change is automatic, however if you do not want capped calls and would prefer to remain on your old tariff please contact our customer service team on 01228 514 369.

    • From 1st April 2012 we are moving all products within the value broadband and SMARTER broadband family currently governed by fair usage rules to have a 40GB usage allowance. Overage will be charged at £1.50 per GB or part GB. This covers Single Max 8, Single Max 24, Office Max 24, Turbo enhanced, Anywhere Single, Anywhere network, Single and Network.


    • From 1st April 2012 ConneXions Line Assurance protects you for just 99 pence a month for an Analogue line, £2.99 a month for an ISDN2e and £4.99 a month for ISDN30e. With this protection ConneXions covers the cost of BT Openreach call out charges, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. If you don’t want the protection of Line Assurance simply cancel before 1st July 2012, we will refund all charges but you will be charged for BT Openreach charges incurred during this time.     • From 1st October 2011 Business Saver Packages are capped at 300 inclusive UK mobile minutes and inclusive international calls are limited to non-risk international destinations

    • Customers are reminded that at the end of your contract term, your contract will automatically renew at the prevailing rate for the tariff or service you are on.

    • From 1st June 2010 Care levels on lines rented from ConneXions have changed in line with (BT) Openreach service harmonisation

    • From 1st February 2010 rates to call Orange mobiles will increase

    • The standard rate of VAT was temporarily reduced to 15% on 1st December 2008 and it will return to 17.5% on 1st January 2010
